Wednesday Words: Positivity

Some days (like today), I wake up frustrated.

Why didn’t I get that client? Why did they go with someone else? What am I doing wrong? Am I not good enough? etc… I start to doubt my abilities and get discouraged. I’ve been working so hard to build a brand and a business, but yet I feel stuck. What is going to bring me to that next level?

I have to constantly step back and think of the positive things like how much I’ve accomplished in less than a year from launching and how happy I am now vs. a year ago in a career I didn’t enjoy. I am lucky to wake up everyday and do the thing I love most along with the freedom to make my own schedule and plan my own life without the chains of a 60 hour work week (because yes that was my life before).

So for today’s Wednesday Words I wanted to share a couple quotes that I look at to remind myself of all the positive things. Positivity breeds positivity, right? I’m trying to eliminate the clutter and the negativity in my life and only surround myself with people who will make me happy and have a positive outlook on life.
